Berlin

After a division of more than 28 years during the cold war, Berlin has become the capital of Germany after the fall of the wall. With 3.4 million inhabitants, it is the largest city in Germany and a cultural and economical centre in Europe. One third of the citys territory is composed of forests and gardens, making it a green city with a livable climate. Economy is domitated by services, although lots of industrial companies such as Daimler and BMW have offices in the city. Berlin has Europes largest convention center and has become the third-most visited city in the European Union. It is the political center of Germany and home to several universities, famous museums and historic places.
